Commercial fly tier, professional guide and author Eric Stroup is the total package on the waters of central Pennsylvania and southwestern Montana. His career has been spent in the fertile waters of both regions and while he personally would never claim to be an expert in anything, there are few better at their craft. Eric is considered one of the finest instructors in the business both on the stream and at the vise and his volume of work in both print media and video have contributed greatly to the sport of fly fishing.
At twenty one month’s Jon was routinely counting to thirteen and knew his alphabet. His skill at ripping off his diaper and peeing in the yard is a testament to his father’s parenting skills, and the occasional swear word that he mutters when he spills something can be credited to his mother. Jon loves lawnmowers, vacuum cleaners, morning coffee, pizza and trains.
A former world-class bird dog, Bleu is now responsible largely for holding the couch down and chasing bumpers into the famed waters of Spruce Creek. He is currently undergoing therapy since the birth of his brother, and it is expected that he will enjoy a full recovery.
